Every percentage here is an estimate. Estimates can be wrong, and some of ours will be. A play called confident, a lock or a play of the day is still a bet that can lose.
Past results don't predict or guarantee future results. That includes any record, units, closing-line figure or review shown on the site or on a shared card. "Units" are a way of keeping score at the stake we posted — they are not money we hold and not results you will get.
3Your decisions, your risk
Trading event contracts and betting on sports carry a real risk of losing money, up to everything you put in. You alone decide whether to act, and you bear the outcome. Never risk money you can't afford to lose.
4We don't handle money or place trades
TheBettingRoom is not an exchange, a broker, a sportsbook or an adviser. We never hold anyone's funds to trade and we never place a trade for anyone. A link to Kalshi opens Kalshi's own site; anything you do there is between you and Kalshi, under Kalshi's terms and contract rules.
5Independent — not affiliated
TheBettingRoom is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Kalshi, ESPN, Sleeper, the NFL, the NCAA or any conference or school, the UFC, or any team, league, player or fighter. Names and logos belong to their owners and appear here only to identify the games and markets being discussed.
6Data can be late or wrong
Prices, scores, injury reports, ratings and statistics come from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. Check the live price and the contract's rules on Kalshi before you act.
A play marked past our number, moved off, ruled out or paused means exactly that as of the last update; the page may be behind what has just happened.
7Age and where you live
You must be at least 18 and of legal age for this activity where you live, and it must be legal there. Whether sports event contracts are available differs from state to state and can change. Knowing and following the law where you are is your responsibility.
8How plays are graded
- Each play is graded at the price and confidence it was first posted at, after Kalshi's fee. Later re-pricing never changes that.
- Results are Kalshi's settlements.
- A play we moved off before its start stays on the page, marked, and is not counted in the record.
- A parlay ticket loses the moment one leg misses and wins only when every leg hits.
